Alexa Bliss’s pet pig Larry-Steve, also known as just Larry, sadly passed away this Tuesday after falling sick on Monday. The pet was said to be in a lot of pain and was unable to move. According to the WWE superstar, his regular pig vet wasn’t comfortable treating him.
The wrestler was not part of Raw this week but was backstage. Her family stayed with Larry and comforted him. She had also reached out to fans asking for suggestions given that the vet did not want to treat Larry.
"Larry is very ill, can't move or walk. In a lot of pain,” she wrote. “His usual pig vet said she is not comfortable treating him in his current condition. Unfortunately in the state that Larry's in right now there's absolutely no way we are going to be able to transport him. He is in too much pain and weak."
AEW’s Cash Wheeler offered to help Alexa take the pig to a hospital but she wasn't keen on moving Larry around as he was in lots of pain.
A vet did come by later in the night to administer medicine and recommended that the pig be taken to hospital, although they should wait as he was too weak. Unfortunately, though, Larry did not make it through the night
"This morning Larry-Steve gained his Angel wings," Bliss announced on Instagram. "I'm so sorry we couldn't find you the help you needed in time. Some people didn't agree to help you. But I want you to know Larry, YOUR LIFE MATTERED. We are completely heartbroken."
How Long Did Alexa Have Larry For?
Alexa had Larry-Steve since his birth in 2017. She treated him like family and posted pictures of him quite often.
The pig even had his own Instagram account, which had already attracted over 90,000 followers. Alexa was clearly attached to Larry and there’s no doubt she’s heartbroken over his demise.
