Mark Zuckerberg shows off water-skiing skills with Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanoski ahead of rumo

Mark Zuckerberg has truly thrown himself into hanging around with UFC fighters ahead of his rumoured fight with Elon Musk.

The Meta chief executive was pictured training with two of the sport's stars in Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski over the weekend.

Some fans thought it all could have been in jest, but either way Zuckerberg certainly looked ripped.

He's certainly got a physique that would be ready to lock horns with Tesla and Twitter owner Musk if the pair do actually end up fighting.

But whether the billionaire showdown materialises or not, Zuckerberg is certainly enjoying spending time with UFC's finest.

He's now been filmed water-skiing off the back of a boat with Adesanya, Volkanovski and others on it.

Sporting a life jacket and black shorts, the social media mogul is seen riding the choppy waves with ease off the back of the boat.

The UFC stars film him as they pan round the boat and the stunning views surrounding it, eventually zooming in on Zuckerberg.

According to TMZ, Adesanya and Volkanovski flew to Zuckerberg's home in northern California after UFC 290 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

On top of appearing to train with two UFC stars, Zuckerberg has also won two medals at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament earlier this year.

Last month, UFC president Dana White stated both Zuckerberg and Musk were keen on the fighting after Musk called his rival out.

"I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this," he said.

On the chances of Zuckerberg and Musk meeting in the Octagon, MMA journalist Ariel Helwani told talkSPORT: "I really think it can happen.

"Someone once told me when it comes to fighting follow the money and there's a lot of money to be made there.

"Both of them kind of want to do this and honestly maybe they're all just bored, all the rich guys are bored and they want to have a laugh.

"I haven't seen [UFC president] Dana White so excited for a fight in years so it's good to see that zest back from him and I actually do think there's a possibility, I'm not dismissing this, I think there's a chance they do this."
