While this might not sound like she's running a marathon, Barks tells the DailyMail that she gets a lot of exercise done while she's in a show. "I'm always at my fittest when I'm doing a show — even when you're not on stage you are running around backstage doing quick changes."

Barks tells the DailyMail that eating veggies is easy for her, since she is a vegetarian. "I'm a vegetarian, and have been since I was about four because I struggled to separate the idea of the animal from the food."

Barks revealed to the DailyMail that some of her favorite foods are vegetables, and she incorporates a lot of different ones into her diet. "I love peas and can happily tuck into a big bowl, but my favorite vegetables are Brussels sprouts. I talk about them so much that my fans call themselves Sam's sprouts."

Barks admits to the DailyMail that she does get stressed out from time to time, but she makes sure to take time for herself to relax. "I can suffer from stress. It's a horrible thing and can creep up on you. When I have one of those days, I take a bit of time out and unwind by watching my favorite series, Friends, going on PlayStation or just chilling with friends."

Barks makes sure to stay hydrated, and tells the DailyMail that she drinks a lot of coconut water. She even says that she uses the beverage to keep her from getting a hangover after a night out. "If I'm going out for a few drinks, I always drink a lot of coconut water after I get home to stop myself from dehydrating."
